Cornelis Gips Pieterzoon (Dordrecht 1778-1843 Dordrecht) was a shipbuilder and owner of the shipyard 'De Merwede' at the Riedijk in Dordrecht. He was the son of Pieter Gips and Dingena van Limmen, and married (1801 Dordrecht) Adriana Boest.

Wybrand Hendriks was a Dutch painter primarily known for his portraits. In the 1780's he served a five year term as one of the directors of the Haarlemse Tekenacademie (Haarlem drawing academy). From 1786 until 1819 he was curator of the art collection of the Teylers Stichting (Foundation).
Now the Teylers Museum in Haarlem.
